Sometimes emotional stress or past experiences aren’t fully processed or released right away. Even when you’ve moved forward, certain feelings, reactions, or patterns can remain.
This is often because the body may still be holding onto deeper layers that haven’t yet been cleared.
The Body Code is one of the methods I use within sessions to identify and release these deeper layers. It works by connecting with the body’s energy to uncover imbalances that may be contributing to what you’re experiencing.
These deeper layers may include:

energetic imbalances in the body

effects of past experiences that still linger

the impact of what the body has taken in over time, even when the original experience has passed
You don’t need to understand how everything works for it to be effective.
Your body guides the process, and we work gently and intuitively based on what it’s ready to release.

What is The Body Code?
The Body Code® is a holistic energy healing system developed by Dr Bradley Nelson. It is used to identify energetic imbalances within the body that may contribute to physical discomfort, emotional stress, or a general sense of imbalance.
This work is based on the understanding that the body holds an innate intelligence and awareness of what it needs in order to return to balance. Through a structured system of questioning, the subconscious is given a voice, allowing the body itself to indicate where imbalances are present and what it is ready to address.
These imbalances can occur on multiple levels and may be experienced in many different ways. Some people notice emotional patterns such as anxiety, difficulty speaking up, or repeating relationship dynamics. Others experience physical sensations such as persistent tension, exhaustion, or discomfort in areas like the lower back. In many cases, trapped emotions are frequently found to be underlying contributors to these patterns and imbalances.

The role of Trapped Emotions
Emotions are not experienced only on a mental or emotional level. They are also physiological and energetic responses that affect the body in real time.
When an emotional experience is overwhelming, prolonged, or occurs during a time of vulnerability, the body may not fully process it. Instead, the emotional energy can remain stored within the energetic field of the body as what is commonly referred to as a trapped emotion.
Over time, trapped emotions can influence how the body responds to stress, how the nervous system regulates itself, and how situations are perceived and reacted to. This is one of the reasons trapped emotions are frequently identified as underlying contributors to many other imbalances addressed through The Body Code®.
Trapped emotions can also act as energetic filters. When similar situations arise in life, unresolved emotional information from the past may be activated, leading to familiar emotional reactions or repeating patterns even when circumstances have changed.
From this perspective, recurring life situations are not viewed as personal failure or lack of effort, but as signals pointing toward unresolved emotional energy that is ready to be acknowledged and released.
When trapped emotions are released, many people report a greater sense of emotional neutrality, clarity, or an increased ability to respond differently to situations that previously felt challenging.
What to expect in a session?
Sessions are gentle and non-invasive and are offered remotely. Sessions are guided through focused intention, allowing the practitioner to connect with your energetic field without the need for physical presence.
The body determines the focus and pace of the session, and only what is appropriate to release at that time is addressed. Sessions typically last 45 - 60 minutes, depending on how much the body wants to release.
Rather than working on symptoms alone, The Body Code® supports balance by listening to the body’s priorities and working from the inside out.
